Morning ride to Rose's today. Super Bowl Sunday is also the day of the Surf City Marathon, which Doug was running. We did not spot him, but we did see thousands of other runners on a closed PCH. I will post pictures of Doug if I can get some. Bill lost a rear brake pad on the Newport Coast descent, but did not worry since it is no longer January (Bill only has bike accidents in January).

I love knowing this ride now. Was it hard to bike through the runners?
ReplyDeleteNo, Miss. We rode slow on the side or we went down on the bike path. Mostly we just cheered for them. It was fun to see so many people out exercising.
