Somehow Oscar cajoled another four of us into a new year cold water swim without westuits. The water temperature was in the high 50s. We went out to the end of the Seal Beach pier and then back in the other side. The water was so cold that my GoPro malfunctioned and would not work after a while. Actually, it was not too bad, especially given that we were only in the water for around 20-25 minutes. It would have been bad had we stayed out for an hour. Bob wants to try going to the stick buoy without a wetsuit this coming week. We warmed up with breakfast on Main Street afterward.
